FAQ

Common questions.

Why do DDP quotes vary so much?

DDP pricing is affected by product type, customs method, duties, chargeable weight, US ZIP code, final-mile method, add-on fees, and peak-season capacity.

When is DDP sea better than DDP air?

Sea is usually better for bulk cargo, heavy goods, planned replenishment, and cost-sensitive shipments. Air is better for urgent or smaller shipments.

Can battery products be shipped?

They need review first. Battery type, watt-hour, built-in status, MSDS, UN38.3, and current channel acceptance all matter.

What if Amazon splits my shipment into multiple FBA warehouses?

Quote each FBA code, ZIP, carton count, and weight separately. Consolidation or reassignment depends on the Amazon shipment plan.

Why are product photos and material needed?

They help evaluate HS code clues, customs risk, restricted goods, brand concerns, and certification requirements.

Is DDP right for every importer?

No. Importers with their own US importer setup, broker, tax ID, or contract requirements may prefer DDU, DAP, or traditional freight terms.

How can I reduce peak-season delay risk?

Ship earlier, review documents before booking, use stable channels, allow FBA appointment buffers, and keep an air option for urgent replenishment.
